The commission entered its sixth year of functioning on March 22, 2011. The orders passed by the commission so far are not very satisfactory , is the public opinion. "Occasionally there might have been good orders," said one of the activists. The activists working in the state have appealed to all stakeholders of the RTI regime in UP to exert their influence at their respective districts, so that, now on, Information Commissioners (ICs) be selected from retired judges and prominent RTI experts. RTI helpline started by the activists receives several complaints regarding commission's functioning.
