I tend to agree with Naveen. We need to be professional. We should shoot the message and not the messenger. I for one has been following this in all discussions. I have dealt in the past with Mr. Prakash Kardaley and others on this principle.
Using uncivil or fowl language is not in the best interest of such a respectable group, irrespective of who are the founders / moderators / members. Ultimately it is the present members who have to decide on civility or else quit with no other option left as rightly stated by Naveen.
I propose to put to vote:
A. How many would like to see / read, civil language / communication in this site?
B. How many would like to see / read uncivil / impolite language / communication in this site?
I vote for A (count 1).
I invite and request all to please vote and add the count to A or B as per your choice.
With no ill will to anyone
Best,

Dear Mr Tewari
"This network" as you refer to it, is claimed to be a memorial to Mr Prakash Kardaley. Mr Kardaley incidentally was the brain behind the "Save RTI Sack CIC" movement of which Mr Habibullah was the sole target. All the emails in this connection are available in the archives of the HumJanenge Yahoogroup and it is quite amusing to
remember the pranks and antics (and language) Mr Kardaley's monkey brigade used to get up to.
The organisers of this network, being pioneering founders of the monkey brigade and deeply concerned about the fate of RTI in India if left solely in the hands of the monkeys, had sought my assistance in setting up / managing this e-group, as apparently I am the only RTI
personality left who can be as abusive or arrogant or pigheaded than the late Mr Kardaley.
BTW, Mr Habibullah has already commented on my usage of certain unflattering (but not abusive) terms on these "blogs" in one of his decisions as CIC. So in sum, I think it would be much better if we left the decision on what is acceptable here, or not, to the owners of this group. The link to unsubscribe BTW, is the same one you used to
subscribe here.
Warmly

I would like to request you to keep some decorum and civility when you are writing pieces which are read by a large number of people. Sometimes the language that you use is very harsh and improper, to say the least. If you continue this kind of at unseemly expression, at least I would like to be out of the network.

The non-publication of the Annual Reports was entirely due to Pankaj Shreyaskar, and I hope that CIC(ANT) places some observations against him in his ACR.
