Government's state-sponsored intimidation / muzzling of the media by
unofficially banning some news channels

Sir,
This refers to News titled "Uttar Pradesh blacks out TV channels for
criticizing Akhilesh govt" published in Times of India .

If there was some wrong reporting by media that went against the
Government or Samajwadi Party, Government or Samajwadi Party was free
to take legal recorse against the channels but Uttar Pradesh
Government's back door undemocratic attack to settle scores with media
on Samajwadi Party's whims & fancies has no place in democratic setup
of INDIA.

Sir,you must be aware that presently a public servant named SADAKANT
is holding the post of Principal Secretary of Information Department
of Uttar Pradesh. The said IAS is an accused of selling confidential
national information to earn black money and thus committing the most
heinous crime on earth i.e. corruption. There were so strong evidences
against Sri Sadakant that CBI was compelled to include his name in the
FIR. This shows criminal mindset of this public servant. I think that
as Uttar Pradesh Government is rewarding Sadakant, who is an accused
of Government of India, I am sure he is blindly following Samajwadi
Party's dictums as a sycophant officer to keep his high positions in
Uttar Pradesh Government to continue his corrupt acts and he is
engaged in said undemocratic act of unofficial banning of these news
channels.

Please get the matter enquired and punish the culprit or else
democracy will lose its meaning in Uttar Pradesh.
